Our Host The Fabulous 'FM' Yes! Just like the radio her name is 'FM' and it is synonymous with her style 'No Static at All!. If you've met her you'll know that she will tell it to you straight!. FM (a.k.a. The Cable Lady) is a seasoned Innovator, Broadcaster, Entrepreneur, Facilitator and Mentor. She has been an active member of the Delaware Valley Business Community since 1989 when she founded The Cable Lady. Innovating a number of first's in the Consumer Electronics Industry.
... the list goes on. Designing media rooms was hands on for The Cable Lady as she also installed and provided troubleshooting expertise for her clients. (Another gender first.) The word got out and national media attention soon followed with CNBC featuring The Cable Lady in a Business Innovators spotlight. FM began her broadcasting career in the 1990's as a radio and television host. She quickly moved into program development, producing and hosting three seasons of personal development programs that aired throughout the Delaware Valley. A passionate advocate for business excellence FM has interviewed numerous local and nation business leaders and we are indeed honored to have a host of her knowledge, talent and style to present our 2009 broadcast season. |
The Business Of Television! As The Cable Lady it was exciting for me to be present and listen to my customers. They would tell me what they watch, what they liked and what they didn't like. They requested that I send them information about products, who was good in business and what products were lousy. I knew at that time this type of information would be interesting to people and they would watch. At the time I could not convince the producers who I took the idea to in New York to do it! I learned a hard business lesson here because it was not too much later that Holiday programs were on and each channel had their own gadget person. Hard Lessons are always learned in the most painful ways. Many times like it or not things such as this stop us...we start to think what do we know? Well you know a lot more than most, so never throw away a real dream.. If someone can stop you from your dream then you don't really have something that you really believe in and are genuinely willing to work to make happen. Your job is to keep moving. When I heard the call, it was time for me to move on. I loved my job and the people were the best but life moves forward and so must you. It took me about a year to recover and when it came time for me to move on before I realized it I had started a production company. Pathfinders was the name of my first production company and at that time most people were looking for their path in life. I certainly was and I figured everybody else was too. Everything we produced at that time was on that subject matter. People watched, called, wrote letters and I knew we all have something on the inside that guides us. For Me it's God and I'm not afraid to listen. What Broadcast Television Network brings to our clients is a mature understanding of broadcasting, media production and a first hand understanding of what consumers are looking for.. what turns them off and what get's their attention and keeps them listening and watching, It's a place for so many people to finally get the word out!
